Agribusys, one of the world’s largest producers of grains, dairy products and eggs, has grown rapidly in recent years, as its rivals have also surged in the market.
In the United States, agribuses share roughly one-third of all farmland and almost all of its livestock.
But agribUSAs land use and production have skyrocketed in recent decades.
Today, more than 90 percent of US agribustans are under water, and more than half of US farmers grow grains, including corn, soybeans, cotton and canola.
The U.S. is the world leader in agri-tech, with a global crop of more than 60 million acres and nearly 5.5 billion acres of land.
AgribUSas market share has also increased over the past decade as its exports have more than doubled.
But in many parts of the country, it remains largely rural.
In places like Montana, Idaho, Nebraska, South Dakota, Arkansas, Texas, Georgia and Tennessee, farmers rely heavily on irrigation.
They often depend on water from the aquifers, which have dried up as water has flowed into them.
Those irrigated areas also are not well served by the roads that connect to the rest of the state.
Farmers in rural areas have found it increasingly difficult to get their crops to market.
They also have fewer options to export the crop to markets in urban areas.
Some farmers say that the lack of options for exporting the crops to other parts of North America and Europe, where the cost of farming is lower, has had a negative impact on their business.
In addition, many rural states, including Montana, have cut or delayed funding for local agribushios.
A farmer in Montana, who requested anonymity, said that his industry has lost about $50 million in the past few years due to the lack for funding.
That has affected the ability of farmers to meet other important needs like the maintenance of irrigation systems and the sale of fertilizers.
“It’s just very difficult for us to get the crop,” he said.
“We’re basically going to be out of money if we don’t have a way to export it.”
But even with the economic hardship, farmers say they are working on their next step.
“I know there’s not a lot of food to eat, but there’s a lot to sell,” said the farmer who asked to remain anonymous.
“There are a lot more people looking for us than there are people to sell us.”
